Sport disciplines in the Africa

Unfortunately Africa is the poorest continent in the world. Thousands of people die of famine every day. Sport has become a chance for a better life for some families. There is a huge number of such examples. Football dominates in Africa, it is regarded as a religion.

The players are treated like Gods, and they are engaged in a variety of charities, or create football schools. Young African talents attend football schools where they are taught football tactics, because they acquire speed, agility, flexibility, and technical skills at birth.

In addition to football, there is another sporting discipline which has beaten records of popularity in Africa since the beginning of the 90s. What do we mean? Of course, basketball. Every true fan of basketball certainly remembers such players as Dikembe Mutombo (Congo), and Hakeem Olajuwon (Nigeria). More and more players from the continent go to the U.S. (NBA) and Europe (ACB, Pro A). You can bet on the Spanish ACB, the French Pro A and the NBA at Pinnacle Sports. A lot of talents come from Senegal, Nigeria, Congo and Angola. Football dominates in other states (Egypt, Morocco, Cote d'Ivoire, and Mali). There are also countries where in addition to football there are other popular sports - Algeria and Tunisia (handball). The African continent is certainly home to many football and basketball talents, as well as the athletes (Kenya, Ethiopia, Niger, Morocco).
